Migrations

migration as a piece of bread the way we imagine we can converse and get along
with others, that what matters is our efforts simply to go along with things like
migration and like the super slow onset of summer, one bird, one sunflower seed
at a time, waiting as it were for spring showers, shadows of the old year still on the
horizon, and I think of a bright, slow, steady sky, Rhodesian, the crickets, the
sandhill cranes, the orchids hardly at rest
